In this course, we’ll examine the powerful comradery that brought together several literary giants under the bonds of friendship. C.S. Lewis, J.R.R. Tolkien, Dorothy Sayers, and others shared a relationship built on more than just mere acquaintance, but one characterized by Christian friendship.

There are thousands and thousands of books today on friendship. But the kind of friendship discussed in this course is one of God’s bringing together Christians in such a way that it forever changes their lives and the lives of those around them. And as Dr. Dwain Tissell, pastor and C.S. Lewis scholar, shares in the next six sessions, this is the kind of friendship much needed still today.

By examining the inspirational and powerful friendship of beloved authors Lewis, Tolkien, Sayers, and others, we hope you will be encouraged to build a thriving oasis of Christian friendship in your community!
